Meet Amanda

For me, jewelry is an art form. It’s much more than an adornment or accessory — it’s an expression of my personality, my style, and my creativity. The brilliance of diamonds, the colors of gemstones, the radiance of gold and platinum… it’s those luxurious details that never fail to captivate me.

As one of the earliest forms of body decoration, jewelry was first worn as talismans to protect people from evil spirits and provide good luck. Ancient Egyptians often wore carnelians, believing the stone would invoke protection from the goddess Isis. Warriors incorporated garnets into their weapons and armor, believing the gems would mitigate the flow of blood from an open wound. Amber was fabled to be the creation of sun rays congealing with the sea. Gems throughout history to enable wearers to absorb their power, and this mysticism fascinates me.

I buy pieces from all over the world – from dealers, manufacturers, at trade shows, and from private individuals for the Vintage & Estate Collection. I buy pieces that speak to me, ones that take my breath away with their quality and grace. I exclusively buy pieces featuring all-natural gemstones and 14K and 8K Gold and Platinum. I’m particularly drawn to pieces that are on-trend yet unusual. Whether it’s a simple gold bangle or an intricately designed showstopper, the pieces you see on Amanda’s Fine Jewels are each magical to me. I only sell pieces that I absolutely love and would enjoy wearing myself.

When creating a custom piece for a client, I work closely with resources all over the world to ensure the very best materials within their budget. For each piece of jewelry on the website, I learn about the stones and find amazing information that makes the item more meaningful. The qualities associated with gemstones are intriguing and, I hope, just as thrilling to our customers. I likewise include the details that qualify a fine jewelry item, ensuring shoppers that every piece is of the highest quality.
